Homemade diy pull up bar doorway.

Supplies needed one 2 4 or other scrap wood one 1 inch x 36 inch galvanized pipe two 1 inch galvanized cap fittings tennis grip tape optional wood screws 1 1 2 inch spade drill bit power drill.

If you face your drywall with wood and anchor it well up the wall it will provide a solid base for making a diy pull up bar at home.

Using the 48 inch piece of galvanized steel pipe and working with one set of the piece finished in the step above.
Thread the pipe into one end of the galvanized 90 degree elbow.

You should now have two holes on either side of your door frame.
It is made from 2x4s 2x6s plywood and some iron pipe fittings.
